This place is nothing short of stunning. The well-kept landscape to go with the privately designated huts for you to dine in, it was beyond my expectation. I got to go during the firefly season in June or so... whey turned off all the lights on the premise and asked all guests to turn off cell phones. We all sat on the adjacent porch and let the time go by. Not only the aesthetics of the place was soothing, but the top notch course menu featuring grilled fish and beef, all kinds of veggies and sweets... It was just a complete experience you won't get anywhere else. Hard to nail down reservations on the dates you might want, and it will cost you some $, but it is like a once in a life time like experience. Highly recommended.

Such a very very nice place located in takao area.So addictive the surroundings is very relaxing.Special Occasions m,family gatherings.And you can check their website always because they have a lot of seasonal event especially fireflies Picking..Kids will be surely enjoyed..Food grilled in charcoal..

A bit of a longish trip out to Takako on the orange (Chuo) train. But - they will pick you up at the train station when you get there. I've yet to ever visit a more dramatic restaurant setting. Especially amazing in early summer when they release the fire flies after sunset. Suck it up, make the trip, and you'll always be proud of yourself for doing it.
